About Barahona Geography and Climate Quemaíto beach Quemaíto beach
It gets its name from the warmth of its waters, sand and gravel ["quemar" in Spanish means to burn] that highlight the location of the island in"the same path as the sun". At 10 kilometers from the city, along the Barahona-Paraiso highway, Quemaíto Beach gets the white foam from the waves of the crystalline Caribbean Sea, and has a strip of golden sand that is fused with the green mountainous landscape.
The beach can be appreciated with all the natural freshness that went into its making, embraced by green mountains and lofty palm trees. While it doesn't have a tourist infrastructure, you can find little restaurants or food stalls with typical food.

quiero saber como llegar a polo -barahona ya que varios de mis amigos estaran alla en vacaciones, y si hay cabañas de alquiler para un grupo grande de personas ,todos iremos en nuestros vehiculos.
