The province of Barahona is ready to satisfy the needs of different types of tourists, with over six hotels with rates ranging between RD$750 and RD$3,500 (approx. US$25 and US$115) per person per night; from single to quadruple rooms, with about 200 rooms. Even though the hotel classification system is not the same as the international system, all hotels in the Barahona area have the basic services such as water, light, telephone, cable TV and security.
